Pochettino points to Mudryk progress as proof Chelsea can win title

Mauricio Pochettino thinks his work with players like Mykhailo Mudryk can help Chelsea win the Premier League title in the future.

He says he’s been working on improving at least 10 players, who needed time to develop. Even though some fans are upset about the team’s current situation – sitting 11th in the Premier League after finishing 12th last season – Pochettino believes he’s doing a good job.

If Chelsea slip up against Burnley on Saturday, there could be more unhappy fans at Stamford Bridge. But Pochettino says the work he’s doing behind the scenes is setting Chelsea up for a brighter future, whether he stays or not.

“I’ve noticed Mudryk becoming more mature,” Pochettino said. “He’s a good example of a player who needs time to improve and understand his role.”

“We know some players need more time than others,” he added. “When we first started training with Mudryk, a lot was happening, but we’re experienced in handling young players. We have several in the squad who need our support.”

“It’s important to push them out of their comfort zone,” Pochettino explained. “We’re here to help them grow. Changing the club’s direction takes time, and it’s a challenge we’re ready for.”

“We believe in the process,” Pochettino continued. “Even if we don’t succeed, someone else will because this process is necessary for young players to develop.”

“Our current data shows we’re performing well, but we’re not getting the results we deserve,” Pochettino noted. “Football is unpredictable, and sometimes, despite our efforts, we don’t win. But we trust in the process and believe we’re on the right track.”

“We don’t take criticism personally,” he emphasized. “We’re determined to succeed, and we’ll work hard to change the current perception.”

“We care about the club, the owners, the players, and the fans,” Pochettino concluded. “We’ll keep trying our best to improve and succeed.”
