Pochettino has rallied his players and fans for tonight’s decisive Carabao Cup semi-final 2nd leg against Middlesbrough, a Championship team.

Chelsea are behind by a goal after losing the first leg, but they have a chance to turn things around at home in the next 90 minutes.

Pochettino told the media (via The Guardian), “Our fans will be very enthusiastic to support the team to reach the final.

The team have to show the fans that they have the energy and the desire. We have to give the first sign that we are committed, that we want to go to the final.”

Pochettino also said that most of the time, the mood at Stamford Bridge has been positive, but he admitted that the blues are still haunted by their terrible performance last season.

Pochettino said, “We are still feeling the impact of 18 months. We have only been here for six months and sometimes it is hard for us to judge. We are improving our results now. But the fans are still unhappy about last season.”

Chelsea need to step up their game, and Stamford Bridge has to be loud and proud from the start.
