Reece James talked about how awesome his Chelsea teammate is before he leaves. The 39-year-old has been at Stamford Bridge for four years and won the Champions League and the Club World Cup while there.

Silva got emotional when he talked to fans after moving from Paris Saint-Germain to Chelsea for free in 2020. His sons, Iago and Isago, also play for Chelsea’s academy teams. They’ll probably stick around even after Silva leaves.

Even though Silva is leaving Chelsea after playing 151 games and winning two big trophies, he’s still a leader in the team. He gave a powerful talk at halftime against Aston Villa, helping the team come back from being 2-0 down to draw.

Silva shared a video on Instagram showing his best moments at Chelsea. He said, “What an amazing journey. We still have a few more games together. Love you, Chelsea.”

Reece James replied to the post, saying, “You’re like a real brother. One of the best players in the game and an even better person. We have lots of memories together that I’ll never forget. Thanks for everything, big bro.”

Silva got injured during the match against Villa, hurting his groin, and might not play for Chelsea again. Fluminense, a Brazilian team where Silva played before, wants him to come back.
