According to BILD, a German newspaper, Maatsen is on the verge of joining Borussia Dortmund on loan.
The details of the deal are still unknown, but Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth says that the talks are progressing well and all sides are keen to finalize it.
Maatsen, a Dutch defender, has played 12 times for Pochettino’s team this season, mostly as a substitute, and his contract with Chelsea expires in 18 months.
