Chelsea on the Hunt for a New Manager After Pochettino’s Exit
Chelsea is in search of yet another manager following the unexpected departure of Mauricio Pochettino.
Just days after leading the Blues to a top-six finish in the Premier League, it was announced on Tuesday that the former Tottenham manager would be leaving.
Although Pochettino’s departure from Stamford Bridge seems to be on good terms, it appears that his vision for the club differed too much from that of co-sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley.
Now, the West London club is looking for its third permanent manager under the ownership of Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
Reports suggest that Chelsea has reached out to Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP and Kieran McKenna from Ipswich Town. However, Roberto De Zerbi, who recently announced he would be leaving Brighton before the end of the season, is currently the favorite according to bookmakers.
