THE BROAD VIEW: Following Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn’s decision to withdraw his club from the contest in late November, PSG has become the most recent team to rule out any prospective move for the forward. There were rumors that Ronaldo had agreed to a massive €400 million transfer to the Saudi club Al Nassr, but the 37-year-old has since disputed those allegations, leaving one of the greatest players in game history with very few possibilities for his next stop.

NEXT MOVE FOR RONALDO: Since there’s no club bidding for him, Ronaldo will probably decide on his future after the World Cup, where he hopes to push his way back into the starting lineup for Portugal’s quarterfinal match against Morocco on Saturday.
