Tosin Adarabioyo Joins Chelsea: A Friendly Reunion at Stamford Bridge

Tosin Adarabioyo, the new guy at Chelsea, already knows a bunch of his teammates. Before he decided to join the team, he chatted with Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling for some advice.

Last Friday, it was big news that Tosin, who used to play for Manchester City, is going to be part of Chelsea starting July 1. His contract with Fulham just ended, and now he’s the first player to join under the new coach, Enzo Maresca.

Tosin was thinking about moving to Newcastle after leaving Fulham, where he played for four years. Even Manchester United was interested in him, but Chelsea made a quick move to keep him in London.

At 26, Tosin’s got a lot of friends on the Chelsea team. He’s played with Palmer and Sterling back at City, and he knows Willy Caballero, the ex-Chelsea goalie who’s coming back as an assistant coach.

Tosin told Chelsea’s website that he called up Palmer and Sterling before saying yes to Chelsea. They only had great things to say about the club and were super excited about him joining.

He remembers Cole from their younger days, and he’s crossed paths with other players like Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chalobah. He also knows Armando Broja from his time at Fulham.

Now, Tosin’s got some big shoes to fill, taking over from the legendary Thiago Silva. He’s also the first new player to come in with Maresca as the coach. Tosin can’t wait to start working with Enzo and the rest of the team.

He’s pumped about the future. They’re planning to play some awesome football and win lots of matches. Tosin’s looking forward to playing with all the top-notch players on the team.
