Hey, guess what? Chelsea finally got their hands on the Premier League Player of the Month award after a long wait, thanks to Cole Palmer!

Palmer, who’s from England, had an awesome month in April, scoring seven goals in just four games. He kicked off the month with a bang by scoring a hat-trick, including two goals in extra time, helping Chelsea beat Manchester United in a really close game.

After that, he scored three goals in less than half an hour in another match against Everton, and then he added another goal from a penalty kick. He also set up a goal for Noni Madueke in a game against Sheffield United. Unfortunately, he couldn’t play in the match against Arsenal because of an injury.

This is the first time Palmer, who’s 22 years old, has won the Premier League Player of the Month award. He’s been fantastic all season since joining Chelsea from Manchester City last summer. He’s scored 26 goals and made 13 assists in 45 games so far!

Palmer had a really exciting week. He was nominated for two big awards – Premier League’s Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season. Plus, he won Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year at a Chelsea awards ceremony.

No Chelsea player has won the Premier League Player of the Year award since N’Golo Kante in 2016-17. Palmer is also doing great in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot, where he’s in second place.

He’s not just making waves at Chelsea; he’s also been playing for the England national team, and it looks like he’ll be part of the squad for the European Championship finals in Germany this summer.
