Thiago Silva is leaving Chelsea, but everyone is feeling okay about it. He’s been a big part of the team, so it’s sad to see him go.

In a video Chelsea made, Thiago got all teary-eyed when he said he was leaving at the end of the season. Even though he doesn’t speak English perfectly, he really likes it here in west London and wants to stay even after he stops playing soccer.

His sons, Iago and Isago, play soccer for Chelsea too. And his wife is famous but still talks to fans when she comes to watch games.

Thiago used to play for Paris Saint-Germain before coming to Chelsea. His old coach, Thomas Tuchel, was mad that Thiago left PSG. But then Tuchel joined Chelsea, and they won the big Champions League trophy together.

Thiago has been playing for Chelsea for four years and won some other trophies too. He’s really liked by the fans and his teammates, especially Reece James, Andreas Christensen, Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi, and Wesley Fofana.

In a recent game against Aston Villa, Thiago gave a talk during halftime that helped the team come back and tie the game.

Even though Thiago spoke out about the new owners having too many players, he’s leaving on good terms. He’s turning 40 soon and wants to keep playing soccer for at least another year.

Chelsea is looking to get another player for his position, and they already have some other good ones on the team. But Thiago will be missed, especially for his leadership.

When Thiago first came to Chelsea, he thought he’d only stay for a year. But now, he’s leaving as a legend. Everyone in English soccer respects him a lot.
