Tosin Adarabioyo Set to Join Chelsea as Fulham Confirms Departure

Enzo Maresca is set to welcome a former Manchester City defender as his first new player at Chelsea.

Fulham is working hard to keep Willian, the Brazilian star, for another season. Meanwhile, Tosin Adarabioyo is getting ready to switch to Chelsea.

Last year, Willian, who is 35 years old, chose to stay at Fulham instead of moving to a team in Saudi Arabia. He agreed to a one-year deal, and Fulham is hopeful he’ll do the same this time.

Marco Silva, the manager of Fulham, wants to keep Willian, who used to play for Chelsea and Arsenal. Willian is thinking about what to do next since his contract is almost over.

Since coming to Fulham from Corinthians in Brazil in 2022, Willian has scored 10 goals in 67 games.

Another player, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, might leave Fulham too, but he’s still discussing a new contract with the club.

Fulham announced that 11 players will be leaving this summer. This list includes Marek Rodak, the goalkeeper who’s been with the club for 11 years, and Tosin, who’s heading to Chelsea after a medical check.

Tosin’s move to Chelsea is a big deal because it’s the first major signing since Enzo Maresca took over. Chelsea got him even though Newcastle was interested in the former Manchester City player.

Tyrese Francois and Terence Kongolo are also leaving Fulham. Armando Broja from Chelsea and Fode Ballo-Toure from AC Milan are going back to their clubs after being on loan at Fulham.

Fulham has decided to keep seven of their players, including Kenny Tete from the Netherlands, for another year.

The club has also offered new contracts to Harvey Araujo and George Wickens, and is waiting to hear back from them.
