Chelsea really want to get their hands on a young Brazilian player named Estevao Willian. He’s just 17 and plays for Palmeiras, a team in Brazil. Other big teams like Arsenal, Barcelona, and Real Madrid are also interested in him.

Palmeiras is asking for at least £26 million for Estevao, who they call “Messinho,” which is like saying “Little Messi” in Portuguese.

Chelsea hasn’t started official talks with Palmeiras yet, but they’ve had some chats with Estevao’s dad and his people.

Estevao played his first games with another young talent, Endrick, who’s also 17 and heading to Real Madrid soon. Estevao is a left-footed right winger and has scored three goals in his first 16 games with the senior team. He’s under contract until 2026.

Chelsea wished they could’ve signed Endrick before Real Madrid did. He even made history by scoring a goal for Brazil at Wembley Stadium, becoming the youngest player to do so in a men’s game.

Estevao and Endrick are following in the footsteps of other Brazilian stars like Vinicius Jr, Ronaldo, Neymar, and Kaka.

Chelsea has been looking into the Brazilian market recently, signing a few other players like Deivid Washington, Angelo Gabriel, and Andrey Santos in the past year and a half.

But there’s a rule from FIFA that says South American players can’t move to Europe until they turn 18. Estevao will hit that milestone next April.
