Victory at the Amex: Chelsea’s 2-1 Win Over Brighton Marks Fourth Consecutive Victory

The Blues faced a lot of pressure towards the end of the game but managed to grab another important win.

Chelsea won their fourth game in a row, beating Brighton 2-1. Cole Palmer scored once again, putting Chelsea ahead, and Christopher Nkunku scored another goal from a pass by Malo Gusto.

But things got tense when Reece James got a red card for kicking out at Joao Pedro after getting fouled himself. This meant Chelsea had to play with one less player.

Brighton managed to score a goal in the 98th minute, making the last few minutes of the game very nerve-wracking. But Chelsea held on and won the game, even though it was a bit chaotic towards the end.

With this win, Chelsea is now in sixth place in the Premier League. If they get at least one point in their next game against Bournemouth, they’ll finish in that spot. However, for them to move up to fifth place, Tottenham would need to lose to Sheffield United. Whether Chelsea will play in the Europa League next season might depend on the outcome of the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United.
