Marc Cucurella, who plays for Chelsea, says everyone on the team still supports their coach, Mauricio Pochettino, even though he’s facing criticism.

Pochettino’s team managed to come back from being 2-0 behind to tie 2-2 against Aston Villa, which helped relieve some pressure on him.

A goal by Axel Disasi in the last moments of the game was canceled by VAR because of a push from Benoit Badiashile on Diego Carlos.

Despite this setback, Chelsea showed they weren’t giving up, scoring goals through Noni Madueke and Conor Gallagher after Cucurella’s own goal and a goal from Morgan Rogers.

When asked if the second-half performance at Villa Park showed they wanted Pochettino to stay, Cucurella said, “Yes, for sure. He talked to us nicely during halftime, and everyone saw how we reacted.”

He also mentioned that sometimes they lose games, but it’s not always the coach’s fault. “When we lose 5-0, I don’t think the manager can do anything. I think it is more about us (the players), about our attitude.”

Cucurella believes they need to keep improving and stay united as a team. “We all need to get better every week, keep the same level, and have a good attitude because we want to win.”

Pochettino has expressed his willingness to discuss his future with the club’s directors and owners before the end of the season, but he’s unsure if the club fully supports him.

Cucurella emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, especially after a bad game like their recent one against Arsenal. “We played very badly against Arsenal and the attitude was not correct.”

He highlighted the need for consistency in their performance. “We need to maintain this level for every minute of every game. If we stay this way, we can do a lot of good things.”

Cucurella stressed the importance of teamwork and fighting spirit. “We need to play and fight together in every game because this is one of the best leagues in the world.”

Looking ahead, he believes they can finish the season strongly. “We have five games left in the season, and I think we can do a lot of good things and finish in a good way. We must keep going.
