‘Won’t win anything at Spurs’ – Kane is advised to join Man Utd

Ferdinand claims that Man Utd should pay “huge money” for Kane because “he’s not going to win anything at Spurs.”

WHAT TRANSPIRED?: The England captain is once more the subject of transfer rumors as he approaches the end of his contract with Tottenham. Kane has drawn interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich in previous transfer windows since he hasn’t won a trophy in north London, but Ferdinand thinks United should be doing everything they can to bolster Erik ten Hag’s squad at Old Trafford with a proven Premier League goalscorer.

THE BROAD VIEW: The former Red Devils defender has told his Vibe with Five YouTube channel: “Get Harry Kane in. Spurs fans, I’m sorry. You’re not going to win anything. He’s not going to win anything at Spurs. They’re in a bit of turmoil at the minute. Man United, if you’re going to go in the summer: ‘Let’s go and find a number nine for the next three or four years to hang our hat on, to get 20-25 goals a season every year,’ where are you going? You’re going to have to pay big money for Harry Kane. But at least you know you’re getting a man who gets 20-25 goals a season. So Harry Kane can’t be going anywhere but Man United.”

NEXT MOVE FOR HARRY KANE?: In addition, Kane has tied Wayne Rooney for the most goals ever scored for England with 53. However, Kane cannot ignore the fact that he has yet to win a trophy at Tottenham and must make a significant choice about his future before turning 30 in July.
